Q. Are the airlines included?
A. No. Vacations USA pays for your hotel stay only.

Q. Do they have rental cars?
A. Yes. Vacations USA recommends you take advantage of a rent-a-car at your destination so you can visit all the beautiful sites on your vacation.

Q. How big are the rooms?
A. The rooms vary in size, depending on the resort and destination. These are first class rooms where you will be treated as a Vacations USA

Q. How much is the airfare?
A. After receiving a confirmation, you may call your local travel agent; the airline directly; or take advantage of an online broker. They will have the current airfares to your destination.

Q. Will we be picked up from the airport?
A. No. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the airport. All airports have taxi, bus, or take advantage of the rent-a-car.

Q. How far are the hotels from Disney?
A. The hotels are 2 - 10 miles away from the Disney World complex.

Q. What is the phone number to the resort
A. Vacations USA customer service department will take care of all your resort questions, so please call this number 845-783-5982

Q. Do we offer all-inclusive resorts?
A. Yes. The Viva Resorts are all inclusive at a minimum charge per person per night.

Q. Do we need a passport?
A. For all destinations outside the United States a valid passport is mandatory.

Q. How old do you have to be to take the vacation?
A. At least one person traveling on the vacation must be 21 years of age.

Q. Can we choose our own hotel?
A. No, Vacations USA has specific hotels in our program. These hotels are on a first come first serve basis.

Q. How long will it take to receive our confirmation?
A. You will receive a confirmation approximately three weeks after you mail it in to us.

Q. What are the ratings of your hotels?
A. All of the Resorts and Hotels are chosen by their quality and service, and they specialize in treating you like a V.I.P.

Q. Can we take our children on our vacation?
A. Yes. Depending on your destination certain rules apply.

  • Florida - Children 18 and under are free
  • Mexico - Children, 6 and under are free
  • Q. Do you have literature on all hotels?
    A. Basically, your travel certificate has all the literature you will need.

    Q. How early can we send in the certificate?
    A. No earlier than 5 months and no later than 60 days.

    Q. Why do we have to pay a deposit?
    A. A security deposit is needed to guarantee your arrival and will be given as a credit at some resorts or sent back within two weeks after departure, depending on the resort. If your date is not available, we send it back to you immediately.

    Q. How much notice do you need for a full refund, due to a cancellation?
    A. 30 days.

    Q. Can we acquire additional nights?
    A. Yes. When we receive your request form, we check the arrival date and the departure date. If the dates are for more days than the certificate grants, we will give you a call and take a major credit card to hold your additional nights.
